Profile of Rev. Wallace Smith Sr.
Moderator of the African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia
Rev. Wallace Smith hails from the community of North Preston. He is married to the First Lady, Sis. Frances Smith, together they have 5 children. Rev. Wallace Smith is a man of God who as been called and anointed to preach the Word of God. He became a Deacon of Saint Thomas Baptist Church in 1981. In 1993, he was assigned the title of Licentiate and four years later under the Pastorship of Rev. Calvin Symonds, he was appointed Assistant Pastor.
Realizing the call of God on his life, Rev. Wallace enrolled in the Atlantic School of Theology and Acadia Divinity College. During his studies, Rev. Wallace Smith was called to Minister at Zion Baptist Church in Truro NS. In the summer of 1999, he was Ordained into the Christian Ministry under the Atlantic Baptist Convention. On July 22, 2001, Rev. Wallace was inducted as Senior Pastor of Saint Thomas Baptist Church, his home church. The community and church have been blessed tremendously by his ministry. Under his Pastorship, the church has grown enormously and many souls have been won and lives changed. Pastor Smith is currently serving as Moderator of AUBA and Chaplin with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). He is a Child of God who loves to Obey God by serving the people of God.
